Welcome to Hostel Esperanza, a practical and comfortable place to stay, ideal for taking a break before or after your flight.
Our hostel is located near the Holiday Inn and the Air Commercial Center of Customs, in a residential and lively area of Callao, close to the airport.
✈️ Getting here from the new Jorge Chávez Airport
Following the recent changes around the airport, the journey is now a little longer. By taxi (Uber or Cabify), it takes approximately 15 minutes, with a typical fare of around S/30–40, depending on the time and demand.
🚌 You can also arrive by AeroDirecto bus. From the 2nd floor of the airport, take a bus heading towards Ventanilla or Norte and get off at the Aduanas stop. From there, Hostel Esperanza is approximately 3 minutes on foot, passing in front of the Holiday Inn.
🔊 Good to know before your stay
Hostel Esperanza is located in a lively local neighborhood of Callao. As in many residential areas of Peru, local life can be quite active: traffic, conversations, music and other neighborhood sounds may sometimes be noticeable, particularly during the day and evening.
Our windows do not have the level of sound insulation found in a 4- or 5-star hotel. If you are particularly sensitive to noise or are looking for a completely silent environment, we prefer to let you know in advance.
On the other hand, our hostel offers a warm welcome, a convenient location close to the airport, and everything you need for a pleasant stopover.
💡 Our advice: If you are a light sleeper, please let us know when making your reservation. We will do our best to provide you with the room that best suits your needs.

The area around the airport is currently undergoing major development. New infrastructure is being built, including a new bus station with a dedicated bus lane, while roads and transport connections are being improved to support the expansion and modernization of the airport.
This transformation reflects the energy and growth of Peru, which we are fortunate to experience every day here in Lima and Callao.
This period of development may occasionally involve construction work or changes to traffic patterns, but it is helping create a neighborhood that will be better connected and easier to access in the future.

How to get here?
🚕 TAXI (Uber or Cabify) – EASIEST OPTION
Departure: Jorge Chávez International Airport
Destination: Hostel Esperanza (Callao, Peru)
Enter Hostel Esperanza as your destination in the Uber or Cabify app. You can also show the driver the location on the map or the image we have sent you.
The driver can drop you off directly in front of the hostel.
💰 Approximate price: S/30–40
The price may vary depending on traffic, time of day and demand.
🚌 BUS – AERODIRECTO (ECONOMIC OPTION)
If you are travelling with only hand luggage, you can take the AeroDirecto bus from the airport.
➡️ After leaving the arrivals area, go to the 2nd floor and follow the signs for AeroDirecto.
Take an AeroDirecto bus heading towards VENTANILLA or NORTE.
👉 Both routes pass through the “ADUANAS” stop.
🛑 Get off at “ADUANAS”.
🚶♂️ From there, walk to Hostel Esperanza, passing in front of the Holiday Inn.
💰 Bus fare: approximately S/2–5 per person, depending on the route.
⚠️ Important: Bus schedules may vary. For late-night or very early-morning arrivals, we recommend taking an Uber or Cabify directly to the hostel.
📍 If you have several pieces of luggage, we also recommend taking a taxi for greater comfort.
